Everything you need to know about booking DJ Femzo for your event. Can't find what you're looking for? Get in touch directly.
Absolutely. I take the time to understand exactly what you want to hear — and what you'd rather avoid. Before every booking, I'll send you a simple music preferences form where you can add your must-play tracks, any songs that are off-limits, and the general vibe you're going for. On the night, I'll use that as my foundation while still reading the room and keeping the energy flowing. Your playlist, your night.
I include a set of 8 LED uplighters, high beam washlights and 2 moving heads as standard with every booking — this creates a professional atmosphere around the venue. For events that need a fuller lighting rig (additional uplighters, moving heads, strobe, laser, dance floor lighting), I work with trusted AV partners and can arrange a complete package at an additional cost. Just let me know your venue size and vision and I'll put together an appropriate quote.
Yes — I offer background music packages for ceremonies, drinks receptions, and dinner settings. This is a great way to have a consistent, curated sound throughout your whole event without having to coordinate multiple suppliers. We'd discuss timings, preferred styles (jazz, acoustic, contemporary, classical, etc.) and any specific tracks for key moments like the first dance or walk-in music.
Absolutely — I’m happy to host and make key announcements throughout your event, from speeches and first dances to cake cutting at weddings. My style is professional and relaxed though — expect clear, professional announcements without the cheesy DJ banter or talking over the music.
Of course! I'd encourage it. Meeting in person (or via video call) gives us both the chance to get on the same page about your event, ask questions, and make sure we're a great fit. There's no obligation involved — just a relaxed conversation about what you're planning. Send me a message via the contact form and we'll get something in the diary.
This is entirely your call. If you'd like guests to be able to make requests, I'm happy to accommodate them where they fit the vibe and flow of the set. If you'd prefer a more curated experience where the music stays within a specific sound or style, I can politely decline requests from guests. We'll agree on your preference in advance so there are no surprises on the night.
I'm based in the UK and travel throughout England, Scotland, and Wales. I also welcome international bookings. Travel and accommodation costs for distant events will be discussed and agreed upon during the booking process. Don't hesitate to ask even if you think your location might be too far — it rarely is!
Once we've discussed your event and agreed on the details, I'll send over a booking agreement and invoice for the deposit (typically 25% of the total fee). Your date is only secured once both the signed agreement and deposit are received. The remaining balance is due 4 weeks before the event date. The whole process is straightforward and fully documented so you always have peace of mind.
I'm fully insured with public liability cover, and all my equipment is PAT tested and regularly maintained. In the extremely unlikely event that I was unable to perform due to a serious emergency, I have a trusted network of professional DJs I work with who could step in at short notice. I take every booking seriously and treat every event — regardless of size — with the same level of preparation and professionalism. Your event matters to me.
Yes! I have personal DJ Public Liability Insurance (PLI) which covers you and your guests in case of accident or injury, up to £10,000,000 - I can provide certification to your venue or event coordinator upon request.
Yes. Portable Appliance Testing (PAT) is the examination of electrical appliances and equipment to ensure they are safe to use. All of my gear is PAT tested and documentation can be provided to your venue or event coordinator upon request.
